2. LG Shane Lemieux unlikely to play vs. the Titans

Shane Lemieux has long been seen as the starting left guard for this team. Lemieux, who had been looking strong throughout camp, left the first preseason game vs. the New England Patriots with a toe injury and he hasn’t practiced since.

Multiple offensive linemen injuries is something the Giants experienced in 2021, but there is hope that this will not be a repeat of 2021. Lemieux also took some reps at center when Jon Feliciano missed the opening couple of days of camp with hydration issues, and that versatility is definitely something that could come in handy in 2022.

Unfortunately for the G-Men, head coach Brian Daboll announced that it’s looking unlikely that Lemieux will be ready to rock for the Week 1 tilt against the Titans. This is a major blow for the OL as a whole. With Lemieux not expected to play, look for some serious shifting to happen up front. The Giants may look to free agency to sign someone too.
