Cornerbacks

In: Adoree’ Jackson, Darnay Holmes, Cor’Dale Flott, Aaron Robinson, Rodarius Williams

Out: Zyon Gilbert, Darren Evans, Khalil Dorsey

Adoree’ Jackson could be destined for a breakout season, but he is the only sure thing in the Giants secondary. Aaron Robinson will be the Giants second starting cornerback, but he has had a rocky camp, and that is putting it nicely.

Williams will make the roster and then potentially go on the PUP list, as he is recovering from a setback in his torn ACL recovery process. Holmes, a camp standout, will be a the starting slot corner with the rookie Flott as his backup.

Safeties

In: Xavier McKinney, Julian Love, Trenton Thompson, Dane Belton

Out: Nate Meadors

McKinney is the best player on the Giants, and Love will be on the field every single play. Belton, the 2022 fourth-round pick, is making great progress from a broken collarbone and will likely play in Week 1. Thompson, an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State, will beat out Meadors for the final spot, as he has looked the part this summer.

Special Teams

In: Graham Gano, Jamie Gillan, Casey Kreiter

Out: N/A

Gano is an All-Pro kicker, who has been the Giants best player the last two seasons. Gillan, nicknamed the Scottish Hammer, seems primed to be the punter this season. Kreiter is an All-Pro long snapper who will anchor the special teams.
