3. WR Alex Bachman

Wide receiver Alex Bachman had arguably the strongest preseason of any Giants player. His stock skyrocketed, as he recorded a massive performance in the team’s second game.

During the team’s preseason tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals, Bachman recorded 11 receptions for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He was able to secure the win for the Giants after scoring with less than a minute on the clock.

Bachman finished the preseason with a league-leading 19 receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Thanks to his strong play, there was hope that he’d be able to earn a spot on the 53-man roster and keep making plays for Big Blue starting in Week 1. Right now, though, that won’t be happening.

After it was announced that Bachman didn’t make the initial 53-man roster, fans were waiting to see if he’d ink to the practice squad. According to insider Art Stapleton, though, Bachman is going to look at other opportunities. With this, he could end up with a different squad. If that happens, it’d be a tough pill to swallow for NY fans.
