Well, that didn’t take long. With so much promise for the NY Giants this offseason, fans have been brought back to earth thanks to a very disappointing start against the Tennessee Titans. Plain and simple, the offense doesn’t appear to have a clue of what they’re doing and an early touchdown from the Titans was rough to see.

With the offense looking sluggish, it of course means that people aren’t going to be too happy with starting quarterback Daniel Jones. Matter of fact, fans haven’t wasted any time in calling him out on social media.

Giants have looked rough to open Week 1

Indeed, Jones hasn’t been playing well and the offensive line isn’t helping him out whatsoever. Because of this, there’s folks out there who are calling for backup signal-caller Tyrod Taylor to take over and run the O.

Taylor was signed to bring competition to the position, but no one expected people to want him to take over this early on. The first quarter hadn’t even come to a close before people were calling for Jones to hit the bench. It’s not just him who has struggled, though, as the offensive line is getting man-handled by Tennessee’s defensive line.

Daboll was hoping for his new team to start things off with a bang, but that just hasn’t been the case thus far. Instead, the Giants are having so many people out there scratching their heads, while Tennessee supporters are loving what they’re seeing.
