1. WR Darius Slayton

It was a huge surprise that Darius Slayton made it through the final cuts, with not even Slayton himself feeling confident on his odds of making it. However, after a report from Adam Schefter was released stating that teams were interested in trading for the 25 year old, it seems as if the NY Giants could actually earn some value in return for Slayton.

After seeming like a future star during his rookie season, things began to crumble down around Slayton, as he never really looked the same. Things reached rock bottom last season, where Slayton dropped several key passes that could’ve changed the fate of part of the NY Giants season.

With this, alongside the emergence of Toney, Robinson, and the return of Sterling Shepard, it seems as if the NY Giants truly do not have a use for Slayton. When you factor this, with the Schefter report, the NY Giants could get some value for the young deep threat.

If the NY Giants are unable to trade Slayton, it is very likely that the team just releases him and earns some cap space back.
