2. Tae Crowder with a vicious hit on Derrick Henry

I just could not exclude this play from this highlight reel. Wink Martindale coached a hard-hitting physical defense in Baltimore for close to a decade, but I did not expect that hard-hitting style to translate to the Giants so quickly.

Tae Crowder absolutely blows up Derrick Henry on this play, doing exactly what King Henry has been doing to NFL defenders the last half decade. Crowder throws off All-Pro left tackle Taylor Lewan and than lays a shoulder into Henry sending him flying in the air. It is crazy that the 6-1, 235-pound inside linebacker could send the most physical running back in the league who is two inches taller and 12 pounds heavier flying through the air by hitting with just his left shoulder.

How many times have you ever seen a defender send Henry airborne? Not Once! The hit is even crazier in slow motion.

Crowder, who took over as the Giants No. 1 inside linebacker after the release of Blake Martinez, gives off shades of two hard hitting Hall of Famers with this hit: Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, both of whom Martindale coached in Baltimore.

Sending all world NFL players like Henry flying through the air will keep “Mr. Irrelevant,” who was selected last in the 2020 NFL Draft, in the NFL for a long, long time.
