It’s no secret that Kadarius Toney didn’t have the Week 1 everyone thought he would for the New York Giants. Only two carries and no receptions? Jeez, what in the heck happened? Toney, who looked a bit dejected in the middle of the action, said he could care less how much he plays as long as the team is winning.

That hasn’t stopped his haters from contiuning to bash him. For a while now, people have been calling out Toney for his inability to stay healthy, while also claiming he doesn’t have a good attitude. Say what you want about Toney, but it’s our opinion that Brian Daboll needs to put the ball in his hands.

Regardless of what happens on Sunday against the Panthers, it looks like Toney has seen all the negative talk surrounding his name this week. Toney took to Instagram to share his thoughts, and he delivered a proverbial middle finger to all of his naysayers out there.

Kadarius Toney shows fire by blasting the people who have been calling him out

Toney didn’t hold back with his social media post – and he’s clearly not happy with everything he’s been seeing. Toney, a former standout for the Florida Gators, has all of the potential in the world. When the ball is in his hands, he’s downright explosive. We saw that on his 19-yard rush against the Titans in Week 1.

That was the only glimpse of Toney magic we were able to witness, however. Again, Toney said he’s not bummed about his lack of playing time, but concern definitely has been raised this week with Toney showing up on the injury report with a hamstring issue. Is that going to be the excuse for a lack of targets against the Panthers?

We hope not. Toney needs to be a big part of this offense moving forward. He’s too fast and too electric to not see out there on the gridion making big plays for Danny Dimes. Daniel Jones is going to rely on guys like Toney, Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard and more to help him lead this team to a winning season in 2022.

Let’s see if Toney can shut up his haters this weekend with a big game against the Panthers. It’ll be just what he needs.
