Here’s why the NY Giants have no excuses to not start off 4-0

2. NY should take down Chicago in Week 4

Justin Fields is an exciting young talent, there’s no denying that. However, he’s still got a lot of growing up to do on the gridiron. The Bears may have been able to take down the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, but that matchup was beyond sluggish. Yes, the rain had an impact on things, but the Bears offense is nowhere close to where it needs to be.

This is going to be another winnable game, with the Giants hosting the Bears and Fields come Week 4. Jones, as of now, is the better signal-caller over Fields. As we mentioned previously, Jones did have some stupid mistakes in the win over the Titans, but he also came up in the clutch when the game was on the line.

Late in the 4th quarter, and your team down by three, would you rather have Jones or Fields leading you out for a late drive? Danny Dimes is the only right answer here. The Giants front-seven will look to rattle Fields, with both Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojulari sure to be back from their injuries by the time this game rolls around.
