3. Kadarius Toney- WR (hamstring)

Make that two Giants WRs who find themselves on the injury report for the G-Men. Kadarius Toney was limited on Thursday dealing with his hamstring, an injury that he battled late in the summer.

Toney is so versatile with the ball in his hands and you just hate to see him constantly battling injuries. It’s hard to forget his 10 catches for 189 yards in Week 5 vs the Cowboys last season. The potential is there for him, but staying healthy is his biggest issue.

This hamstring injury dates all the way back to the middle of August during 2021 training camp. He rolled his ankle in his dominant Week 5 performance vs the Cowboys, but would reinjure the ankle in a Week 6 loss to the Rams too.

After that, he missed four games due to a quad injury and then another three with an oblique injury. Toney only played in 10 of the Giants 17 games last season. Toney is listed as questionable for Week 2.

With Robinson surely not playing, will the Giants play Toney, or will New York be without two dynamic playmakers? Let’s hope Toney can take the field for this one, as the offense needs his speed out there.
