2. Jones needs to put up numbers

We’ve seen Jones takeover a football game before, and nothing excites fans more than seeing their young QB light it up. It would be great to get a 300-yard day and/or multiple touchdowns from the 25-year-old QB against Baker.

In 2019, Jones threw for over 300 yards in five games, but since then he only eclipsed 300 yards once. The Daniel Jones clock has been ticking, but if he can replicate what he did in 2019 somehow then he can leave New York’s new regime no choice.

Mayfield isn’t a QB who is going to commit an air raid against opposing defenses. For him to run his mouth to begin with is foolish. Jones has a chance this week to shut him up on the football field this Sunday,

Putting up big numbers against Carolina will certainly give the Giants a great chance to win, but if Jones outplays Baker then he will make him look like a fool.
