1. Beat Baker

Putting everything together and winning in Week 2 is ultimately the end goal, and the main way Jones can make Mayfield eat his words. Although they brushed the beef under the rug a while back, the Giants certainly did not forget.

If Jones is using his old comments as motivation then he is already off to the right start. Everyone loves a comeback story, and every fan would love to see the guy they see struggle rise up and takeover.

A game like this is one where fans will really see who Jones is. Everyone knows he has the capability of being the franchise QB the Giants want him to be, but he has been inconsistent at times. Staying motivated helps good players stay focused 24/7, and Jones cannot forget what was said.

If he goes out there and balls out against Carolina, then Giants fans should be very excited. The Giants needed a change, and the new coaches are starting to change the culture. Maybe fans will see the real Daniel Jones come out from a motivated coaching staff, and a personal upcoming game against Baker.
