The NY Giants and Dallas Cowboys are set to do battle on MNF in Week 3. New York comes in with a 2-0 record and the Cowboys are 1-1 after losing Dak Prescott to a thumb injury in Week 1. Dallas is trying to survive the season as long as possible without their starting QB. With their Week 2 win, the Giants have the chance to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2009. It’s a big game for NY and the Cowboys would love to hand Big Blue their first loss in 2022.

With the game not being played until Monday night, that gives both sides an extra day to rest and get prepared. Injuries leave some key players out for both teams and that’s why NFL players have a next man up mentality. Next, we’ll look at four injury concerns leading up to MNF with Dallas.

4.OL Jon Feliciano

One area of the game that has troubled the Giants in the past is being able to start the same five offensive linemen week after week. The Giants were set to have two returning starters this season before Shane Lemieux was sidelined with an injury that placed him on the IR.

Coming over with Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen from the Bills is new NY Giants center and NFL veteran, Jon Feliciano. He spent four seasons in Oakland and three in Buffalo before signing with the Giants in the offseason.

Feliciano was listed as limited in Thursday’s practice with a shin injury. He missed some time early on in training camp with other injuries that have since gone away.

The veteran is the only Giants starting lineman with an injury. Expect to see Feliciano on the field with that extra day of rest and NY limiting him at practice. Big Blue needs their offensive line to perform well if they want to have a big game from Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones.
