1: OT Andrew Thomas

Following a fantastic breakout 2021 campaign, it seemed as if the sky was the limit for Andrew Thomas. However, throughout the first two games of the 2022 NFL season, it seems as if not even the sky is enough to limit Thomas’ potential. As throughout said two games, Thomas is the highest graded offensive tackle in the entire NFL according to PFF with an impressive grade of 89.1.

Thomas has looked nothing short of fantastic throughout the first two weeks of the season and as a NY Giants fan you have to love it. The team has not had a franchise level offensive tackle in a very long time.

You could have made the argument that Thomas deserved to make the Pro Bowl last season as an alternate. However, if he keeps up this level of play for the remainder of the season, not only will he start in the Pro Bowl, but he will also likely make one of the All-Pro teams.

After all the scrutiny the NY Giants received for taking Thomas so high compared to the other tackles in the class, you have to love to see him be better than all of them this season. Obviously Tristian Wirfs has the advantage over him longevity wise, but this season it’s clear that Thomas is the better player.
