3. The Giants can stay with the Eagles

Are the Giants better than the Eagles? Probably not, but they still have an opportunity to stay right at the top of the division with them if they secure a victory tonight. This team doesn’t necessarily need to make the postseason, but they have a great opportunity too.

A win tonight would be a huge step in the right direction, as they would join Miami and Philadelphia as the only remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

New York’s schedule isn’t too challenging this campaign, and they need to take advantage of that. If they snag a victory in Week 3, they would be 3-0 heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Chicago Bears. That’s another winnable game.

The NFC East obviously isn’t the strongest division in football, which opens doors for the Giants. With the way Philadelphia is looking, the division will be very hard to attain, but the Wild Card is something that New York can get.

If the Giants want people to start respecting them as a real playoff threat, then they need to be able to keep up with the top teams in the league. That starts with winning vs. Dallas, and staying with their division rival at the top.
