2. Alex Bachman

The Giants could look to bring back a familiar face to address the wide receiver position. This could come in the form of their 2022 preseason star Alex Bachman.

When the Giants were cutting down their roster to reach the 53-man total, Bachman was arguably the most shocking player they moved on from. He put on several elite showings leading up to the season. He and Jones seemed to build a solid connection.

Bachman put on a show in the preseason, finishing as the league’s leading receiver. He recorded 19 receptions for 166 receiving yards and two touchdowns. During a matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, he recorded 11 receptions for 122 yards and one touchdown.

Bringing Bachman back to this offense would mean returning a player who already knows the offense. With no time needed to learn the playbook, this could lead to him making an immediate impact for this offensive unit.

The 26-year-old receiver has showcased plenty of potential, but in the past, he just didn’t fit into the Giants plans. But now, that may no longer be the case. If the team brings him back, he could end up being ready immediately. We’ll see if Schoen brings him back.
