2. OT Evan Neal

While we may not be worried about Evan Neal in the long run, his start to the season has been far from ideal. Especially after the Giants Week 3 matchup against the Cowboys, where he surrendered three sacks and five pressures.

Neal was seen as a generational offensive lineman prospect coming out of college, and this is still the case. Most offensive lineman tend to struggle in their rookie season, but this is something NY Giants fans know more than anyone else.

Outside of the game vs. Dallas, Neal has been very solid, nothing too crazy, but not bad by any means. Regardless, Neal must improve his level of play this season so the team does not suffer anymore.

As unworried as we may be about Neal, he must play better if the team wants a chance to succeed. Entering Week 4 against the Bears, Neal will likely be matched up against Al-Quadin Muhammad, who has yet to record a sack this season. This will likely be Neal’s best chance to prove he has the potential to turn things around.
