4 Saquon Barkley trade rumors that won’t die until the deadline

3. A move to Buffalo for Saquon Barkley

All of this madness was brought up once again when Boomer Esiason mentioned the Buffalo Bills as a team who could trade for Barkley. While this left a lot of people up in arms, Esiason isn’t totally off base in bringing up the AFC East powerhouse as a possible team hungry to get something done with NY.

The Bills have a Super Bowl on their minds and nothing else. After losing to the Chiefs two years ago in the AFC Championship Game and then suffering a loss last season in the Divisional Round, Buffalo wants to finally get over the hump and make a return trip to the biggest game of the year. They want a Lombardi Trophy.

While Devin Singletary can be great at times, he’s no Barkley. Saquon could help this offense get over the top and take down the Chiefs as well. Buffalo would need to put a second-round pick on the table, and potentially more. Imagine if the Chiefs trade for Barkley before Buffalo does. Bills Mafia would go into panic mode.
