4 ways the NY Giants can stun the Packers in London
2. A healthy Daniel Jones continues his solid level of play
Despite not playing at an elite level, and maybe not even earning his due extension just yet, Daniel Jones has undoubtedly been a crucial part of the NY Giants early success. However, an ankle injury he suffered in the NY Giants Week 4 matchup against the Bears caused Jones to miss some time.
As the week went on, it was unclear as to whether or not Jones would be healthy enough to play or not. However, Jones is off the injury report and he’ll be ready to rock on Sunday. Jones has done a solid job at leading the NY Giants to their early 3-1 start to the season. Without him, it would likely be a much worse start.
This season, the Packers rank 30th in passing yards allowed, 24th in passing TDs allowed, and 30th in first downs allowed through the air. With Jones playing an elite defense like this, we could see some struggles. Even if Jones does not play fantastic, he must step up in a big way this week. We’ll see how he plays this weekend.
