How about those New York Football Giants?! The G-Men pulled the upset of the NFL season on Sunday morning, defeating Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers 27-22. This can be dubbed as the “London Stunner.”

Despite missing their top four wide receivers: Kadarius Toney, Sterling Shepard, Kenny Golladay, and Wan’Dale Robinson, their best pass-rusher Azeez Ojulari, their best cornerback Adoree Jackson (left the game due to injury), and their best defensive lineman Leonard Williams, the Giants overcame a double-digit second half deficit for the second time this season.

The win in England improved the Giants record to 4-1, their first 4-1 start since 2009. Daniel Jones was the ultimate warrior. Despite battling both an ankle injury and a bloody hand, Jones threw for a season high 217 passing yards, while adding another 37 on the ground. Darius Slayton was a monster, hauling in six huge balls for 79 yards. Daniel Bellinger, Dexter Lawrence, and Jason Pinnock all had game-changing plays that help lead to the Giants victory.

There were so many great moments by the Giants Sunday morning. Here are the four best plays that helped the NY Giants beat the Packers at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

4. Saquon Barkley gets loose, turning the game around for Big Blue

The Packers had just scored a touchdown after a long, 13-play, 75-yard drive, which took almost eight minutes off the clock to expand their lead to 17-3. The Giants needed to respond, and respond quickly, or else this game could have gotten real ugly, real fast.

The offense has started slow in every game this season, and Saquon Barkley has been the guy to get the offense going every week. Sunday was no different. Facing a 2nd-and-7 from their own 22, Barkley lined up as the wildcat QB, something the Giants featured multiple times on Sunday, and took the direct snap.

Barkley showed off his patented game-breaking explosive speed, bursting down the sideline for for 40 yards. Barkley’s 40 yard burst got the offensive engines fired and jump started a six minute, 11 play, 86-yard touchdown drive that got the Giants right back into the game. The touchdown the Giants scored later that drive, which cut the deficit to 17-10, was very special.
