Bills moving to Saquon Barkley Plan B with latest NFL trade rumors
Remember last month when there was speculation that the Buffalo Bills had interest in trading for NY Giants running back Saquon Barkley? Yeah, there’s no way that’s going to happen now, as Barkley is looking like one of the best RBs in the game and he has helped the G-Men record a 4-1 record thus far.
There’s zero chance the Giants trade Barkley and now Buffalo is going to have to look elsewhere to try and improve their running game. Enter Christian McCaffrey? There’s conflicting reports about Buffalo reaching out to Carolina regarding a potential deal for McCaffrey. Will something end up going down here?
Buffalo Bills reaching out on Christian McCaffrey is good news for the NY Giants
Buffalo has the highest Super Bowl betting odds as it is. Should they pull off a blockbuster deal to add McCaffrey to that already potent offense, then it’s going to be bad news for the Kansas City Chiefs, Balitmore Ravens and others.
For all of the NY supporters, they could care less about the Bills. All people in East Rutherford are worried about are the Bills taking a hike in terms of trying to land No. 26 from Joe Schoen. After pulling off the big-time upset going up against the Green Bay Packers in London, NY is somehow 4-1 on the year, which no one saw coming.
This team not only has postseason hopes, but there’s reason to believe they could be in the hunt to win the NFC East as well. None of that will go down, however, unless Barkley is heavily featured in the offense. Saquon currently leads the NFL with his 676 yards from scrimmage.
Barkley has turned countless heads through five games this campaign and he’s only just getting started. Barkley belongs at MetLife and no one, especially the Bills, will be able to get him out of town this fall.
