2. S Chuck Clark

Leading the Ravens in tackles through five weeks is the sixth-year pro out of Virginia Tech Chuck Clark. He started his career as a CB for Baltimore and changed to safety in 2019. Though he only leads the team by one tackle (34), his role is going to increase in the next four weeks.

The Ravens placed Marcus Williams on the IR. He was the team’s other safety and was second on the team in tackles this season (33). Luckily, Baltimore has some depth at safety, but it may involve giving a rookie his first NFL start. The Ravens took Kyle Hamilton with the 14th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

He’s played more of a special teams role so far this season, only playing in at least 50 percent of the teams defensive snaps in weeks 1 and 2. His role could increase massively for the next month with Williams on the IR. With that said, Clark is the leader of the safety unit and he’ll look to make life tough for Danny Dimes.
