Are you kidding?! There are no words to describe this New York Giants team in 2022. Just when it looked like the Baltimore Ravens were going to be able to record a win over the G-Men at MetLife Stadium, the defense stepped up with a pair of huge turnovers in the fourth quarter. Say it with us, folks: the Giants are 5-1!

On Sunday, NY was able to come away with an incredible 24-20 win over the Ravens and fans are loving this. Time and time again, this unlikely story continues to be written in such a monumental manner. What a turnaround for this organization. With that said, here’s five things we learned from the Giants win.

5. The offense can’t keep playing so slow in the first half

What’s been so key for the Giants this season has been the way they’ve been able to kick things into a new gear in the second half. However, the slow starts have been tough to see and we got more of the same vs. the Ravens on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

The Giants were held to seven points in the first 30 minutes of play and the team just couldn’t move the ball down the field. How bad were things? Well, the Ravens managed to record 256 yards in the first half, while the Giants were held to 90. Only 90 yards of total offense for the first half?

Yeah, that’s never what you want to see and people were once again upset with some of the play-calling decisions from offensive coordinator Mike Kafka. Luckily, this team was able to find a way to record some huge plays in the second half once again, with Daniel Jones, Daniel Bellinger, Saquon Barkley and others stepping up. Moving forward, though, we’d like to see NY start things off on a much better note.
