1. Julian Love and Kayvon Thibodeaux were the heroes late

What a perfect time for the Giants’ first interception of the season! With Baltimore looking to end the game with an exclamation point late in the fourth quarter, Julian Love and the NY defense had other ideas. On a key third-down play, Jackson let the snap go by him and then he tried to force a ball down the field. Big mistake.

Love intercepted the ball and then returned it deep into Baltimore territory. After hearts dropped on a Jones interception, the relief couldn’t be measured when pass interference was called on Marcus Peters. Then after that, Barkley recorded his touchdown run to give the Giants their 24-20 lead.

That’s an unreal play from Love and you know that defensive coordinator Wink Martindale love seeing it. After that, No. 5 overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux came up huge for the Giants, recording a strip sack of Jackson, with Leonard Williams recovering the rock.

Are you kidding me? What a moment for Thibodeaux, as everyone has been waiting for him to record this kind of a play. All in all, the Giants stepped up late and are now 5-1 on the year. Who in the world ever thought this would be the case? You’ve got to love it.
