After stunning the Green Bay Packers in London last week, the NY Giants enter Week 6 facing off against the Baltimore Ravens, who, throughout the first five games, have looked very solid with a record of 3-2.

This game will be no easy task, as the Ravens hold one of the best QBs in the league in Lamar Jackson. Despite this, we have seen the Giants pull off multiple underdog victories thus far. If they can manage to take down the Ravens and improve to 5-1, we could potentially be looking at a very serious NY Giants team. With that being said, here are four ways the NY Giants can stun the Baltimore Ravens:

4. Contain, contain, contain

The impossible task, something that no team has been able to do so far: Contain Jackson in the run game. In the first five games, Jackson has ran the ball 49 times for 374 yards and two TDs. The only game in which Jackson did not run for 50+ yards was in Week 1 against the Jets, where he would end up throwing for 213 yards and three TDs.

The last time the NY Giants played a mobile QB similar to Jackson, and we say this in the form of their ability on the ground, was Justin Fields. Against the Giants, he ran the ball seven times for 52 yards. Even if these two QBs are mobile, there is still a very notable difference in mobility between Jackson and Fields.

Regardless, the Giants may have the perfect defensive coordinator to play against the Ravens in Wink Martindale, who came to East Rutherford after working as DC for Baltimore. If there’s any defensive coordinator that knows Jackson, it’s Martindale. This makes Giants fans hopeful that he can come up with a scheme to at least try and slow down the former MVP.
