After upsetting the Green Bay Packers in London in Week 5, it seemed as if the NY Giants had a real chance to pull off yet another big-time win vs. the Ravens. That came to fruition, with the G-Men upsetting Baltimore 24-20 in an epic Week 6 showdown.

Absolutely no one expected the Giants to have such an elite start to the season, not even the most optimistic fan. However, they’re doing it and proving all the haters wrong with their 5-1 record.

There were many plays on both sides of the ball that allowed the Giants to pull through with their miraculous win. Entering the weakest part of their schedule, the Giants must use the momentum they have to their advantage. Regardless, here are four plays that helped NY record its huge upset win over the Ravens.

4. Daniel Bellinger’s touchdown catch in the fourth quarter

Following his selection in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, it seemed as if there was a real chance that tight end Daniel Bellinger could be a solid contributor for this Giants team. However, throughout the first six games, Bellinger has been much more than that.

In six games played thus far, Bellinger has caught 15 passes for 139 yards and two TDs, looking like one of the best TEs out of his draft class.

Bellinger came up huge this game when in the fourth quarter, with the NY Giants down 20-10, he caught a pass in the end zone off of a beautiful Daniel Jones throw to bring the Giants within three. Talk about clutch:

Bellinger wasn’t the only rookie to come up huge this week, with Wan’Dale Robinson making a big impact in his first appearance since Week 1, catching three catches for 37 yards and a TD.

With the majority of the NY Giants receiving core missing a lot of time due to injuries, it was amazing to see both Robinson and Bellinger step up the way they did. The NY Giants offense has seen a lot of struggles throughout the first six weeks due to the team’s lack of healthy receivers. If Robinson and Bellinger continue to play the way they did this week, in addition to remaining healthy, we could see a lot more consistency from this team offensively.
