4 key plays that helped the NY Giants improve to 5-1
3. Saquon Barkley’s high-flying TD late in the fourth
Despite, for some reason, not seeing many touches early on the game, Saquon Barkley was huge for the Giants in the second half. For example, in the first half, Barkley only saw eight total touches, in the second half, he was given 18.
For the game in total, Barkley ran the ball 22 times for 84 yards and a TD, in addition to catching three passes for 12 yards.
It was very odd that offensive coordinator Mike Kafka did not include Barkley that much in the first half. However, when given the chance, Barkley came up big time, especially in the fourth quarter.

When the Giants needed him most, Barkley showed off his insane athleticism to put the team in front with less than two minutes on the clock. This TD would be the one that would eventually win the Giants this football game.
Barkley has been without a doubt the best player on the Giants offense not named Andrew Thomas. Despite seemingly reinjuring his shoulder in this game, there is a very good chance we see this elite level of play continue as the season goes on from No. 26.
