2. NY’s passing attack can put up numbers vs. the Jags

Last week in the Giants game against the Ravens, they took full advantage of Baltimore’s weak secondary, as Daniel Jones threw for 173 yards and two TDs despite the interior of the team’s offensive line playing rather poorly.

Entering this week, the Giants face yet another weak secondary, as the Jaguars defense has given up the eight-most passing yards and 14th-most passing TDs throughout the young season.

Obviously the Giants passing game is not a spectacle of modern sports, however, we have seen Jones step up time and time again when the team has needed him, having the most game-winning drives in the NFL through six games.

The fact that we have seen Jones have such a solid level of success considering everything around him is absolutely fantastic. Not only has Jones lost almost all of his starting receivers, but outside of Thomas and Neal, the offensive line has not played well at all. Both Kenny Golladay and Kadarius Toney aren’t expected to play Sunday either.

Regardless, Jones has stepped up at almost any moment the Giants have needed him to. Jones may not be worthy of an extension just yet, however, there are almost no reasons for fans not to be happy with the 25 year old.
