If Odell Beckham Jr. is looking to sign with a team that’s headed in the right direction, surely he’s got to be considering a return to the NY Giants. That’s what a lot of Big Blue supporters are hoping for, and it looks like players in East Rutherford would be more than welcome to bringing back OBJ to MetLife Stadium as well.

On Thursday, Saquon Barkley made that quite clear, as he and Beckham had a nice back-and-forth on Twitter. These two are great friends and people haven’t forgotten about the two makings plays together. If you ask Barkley, getting Beckham back in town sure would be great to see.

NY Giants RB Saquon Barkley is all for Odell Beckham returning to town

This has something that has been discussed for a little while, as Beckham continues to rehab from his torn ACL and he remains a free agent. There are several teams that OBJ has been linked to, including the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and more.

All three of these teams have stud QBs, and they’re in need for some WR help. Beckham could step in and be a playmaker for Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson or Aaron Rodgers. However, we’d like to see Beckham catch balls from Daniel Jones and so would Barkley.

The two former teammates have a lot of love for one another and they indeed were fun to watch together for a brief period of time. Beckham’s touchdown pass to Barkley on a sweet trick play – yeah, that’s still talked about in New Jersey.

With Beckham inching closer to 100 percent from his serious knee injury, we’re going to see more reports on him pop up. Who knows, though, maybe Barkley can work his magic and convince his pal to don a Big Blue jersey once again.
