NY Giants must beat Aaron Rodgers once again in trade for Jerry Jeudy
This really could be a match made in heaven for the NY Giants and Jerry Jeudy. We’re inching closer to the Nov. 1 trade deadline, with several teams out there hoping to land some playmakers far before the postseason arrives. NY supporters are hopeful general manager Joe Schoen will keep the good times rolling by bringing in some wide receiver help. Enter Jerry Jeudy?
The Broncos speedster has been linked to the G-Men in recent weeks, but so have the Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts and others. Green Bay would make sense for Jeudy, as Aaron Rodgers is in living hell right now with the lack of options on the outside for him.
While that sucks for the Packers, the Giants are 6-1 and could use a stud of Jeudy’s abilities. The Giants can’t let Jeudy slip away and start making catches for Rodgers and Matt LaFleur.

NY Giants trading for Jerry Jeudy would be ideal for Daniel Jones
The Giants don’t have a ton of cap space, but the great thing about Jeudy is that he’s still on his rookie contract and isn’t owed a monstrous salary for 2022 or 2023. Schoen could find a way to get creative to make this work. On top of that, Danny Dimes would no question be over the moon if he can have another target to throw to.
The need for a reliable pass-catcher has been increased due to the serious eye injury for tight end Daniel Bellinger, who has third on the team with his 16 receptions. It’s unknown if the 2022 fourth-round pick will be able to play again this year, as he’s set to have surgery on his fractured eye socket later this week.
Others on the team can’t be trusted to make big plays for Jones, with Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay battling injuries this fall, while Marcus Johnson had a fourth-down drop to forget in the win over the Jaguars. Jones was livid with Johnson. You think Jeudy would let a ball like that fall to the ground? Absolutely not.
In London earlier in the campaign, the Giants stunned the Packers and handed Rodgers a tough loss at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It’s time for Schoen and NY to provide the future Hall-of-Fame signal-caller with yet another L, this time beating him to the punch in a trade for Jeudy. Jeudy is not happy with his situation in Denver. He’d feel right at home in East Rutherford.
