The New York Giants, led by Daniel Jones, now sit at 6-1. The new regime of Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen has constructed a roster that, to the shock of many, is built to win now. With a favorable schedule on the horizon, the Giants could find themselves reaching double-digit wins this season. This could also mean a trip to the playoffs.

If the Giants believe that they can keep this success going, they may find themselves looking to solidify this roster before the Nov. 1 trade deadline. With several potential starters on the trade block, the Giants could add a potential game-changer.

Here are four players Big Blue could target at the trade deadline:

4. New England Patriots WR Kendrick Bourne

The wide receiver position has gone from a bright spot for the Giants to their weakest position on the team. Riddled with injuries and a lack of production, NY has had to dig deep into the depth chart to find success.

Even with strong showings from Darius Slayton and Wan’dale Robinson at points this season, the Giants are in need of depth. David Sills and Marcus Johnson are currently playing a large role in this offense. While them playing significant time could be helpful down the line, they aren’t producing enough right now. Trading for a veteran pass-catcher could help keep this group stay afloat.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kendrick Bourne could be the perfect addition. He has been a reliable option throughout his career. Before the start of this season, he had recorded 192 receptions for 2,569 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Unfortunately for Bourne, this season has not gone to plan. He has fallen down the Patriots depth chart and has played sparingly. Over six games, he has played more than 50 percent of offensive snaps just once.

Bourne’s stats this season indicate his lack of usage. He has recorded just 11 receptions for 142 receiving yards. But placing him into a Giants offense that directly correlates with his skill set could not only rejuvenate his career, but could help elevate this offense.

With how the Patriots have underutilized him, he could be obtained without giving a lot. A day-three pick could be all it takes to get Bourne to the Giants.
