2. New York Jets CB Bryce Hall

New York Jets cornerback Bryce Hall has the potential to be a starter on several teams around the league. Unfortunately for the 2020-fifth round pick, he has found himself out of the team’s cornerback rotation.

With the arrival of rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner and the emergence of D.J. Reed, Hall has become the odd man out. He has been inactive in all but one game this season, even while being healthy.

Hall is just one season removed from being a borderline star at the cornerback position. He finished the 2021 season with 79 total tackles, four tackles for loss, and 16 defended passes.

The Giants have already addressed the cornerback position once this season when they signed Fabian Moreau. Upon his arrival, he has been solid, recording 25 total tackles, and three defended passes.

In what proved to be his best game of the season, Moreau delivered when it mattered in Week 7. While finishing with a season-high nine tackles, he helped solidify the Giants win with his goal-line stand. The emergence of Moreau could lead to the Giants possibly not addressing the position. Hall is a young player, though, with a legitimate upside. In just his third season, he could help fill a role for this Giants team that they will likely address in the offseason.
