1. WR/KR Richie James

There are absolutely zero excuses for why Richie James played this poorly, and in all honesty, there are zero reasons for James to remain on this team outside of the Giants lack of depth at receiver.

This was one of the worst games we have seen from a punt returner in a very long time. James singlehandedly took away two offensive possessions from the NY Giants, including a potential game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter.

If there is one good thing we could ever say about former head coach Joe Judge, it’s that he knew what he was doing on special teams. However, this season, that area has been quite awful for the Giants, as both the returners and blockers have been terrible.

We hope that special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey has a plan to replace James, as he now has three fumbles on the season, which is absolutely unacceptable.

Of all the ways for the NY Giants to lose this game, this was possibly the most painful one. There is no reason for these turnovers to happen, and considering Brian Daboll’s no nonsense mentality, this could be one of the last times we see James touch the field this season. Fans are furious with James for his two fumbles and understandably so.
