4. Saquon Barkley is looking like one of the best RBs in the NFL

The offense has been incredibly up and down in ’22, but Saquon Barkley is back and he’s better than ever. This poor guy has been dealing with a plethora of injuries since his breakout rookie campaign in 2018, of course including his torn ACL early on in 2020. Barkley is now back to full health and he’s looked like a total boss.

On the season, the fifth-year RB has rushed for 779 yards and five touchdowns, while adding 28 receptions for 189 yards. With Daboll and Kafka in town, you figured they’d find the best way to utilize the speedster and that’s been the case through eight games.

With the Giants out of action this weekend, it’s a great time for Barkley to rest up. He’s been taking a beating this year, as his workload has been quite high. However, Barkley has embraced all the carries he’s been receiving and the passion he runs with has been a pleasure to see. We’ll take more of the same in Weeks 10-18.
