If ever there was a time for Kenny Golladay to get his NY Giants career going with a bang, it’s this weekend against the Houston Texans. With Kadarius Toney out of town and now suiting up for the Kansas City Chiefs, this team needs a wideout to step up and be the No. 1 option for Daniel Jones. We know it’s not going to be Richie James, Marcus Johnson or David Sills.

You also can’t put that kind of pressure on fourth-round pick Wan’Dale Robinson. With Golladay back from his knee injury, he’s got a golden opportunity to make a splash vs. the Giants’ Week 10 opponent. With Golladay close to 100 percent too, he’s back on the practice field and looking hungry. This is sure to make Brian Daboll happy.

NY Giants need Kenny Golladay at his best vs. the Houston Texans

We’ve brought it up several times before, but Golladay has been a complete disappointment during his time with the G-Men. After not scoring a single touchdown in his first year in East Rutherford, he’s followed that up this season with another zero on the board. His two receptions for 22 yards isn’t what anyone was hoping for either.

Put that all in the past, however. Let’s wipe everything off the table and just focus on the future. Golladay can still turn his career around while donning a Giants uniform. We’re not ready to give up on him just yet.

This man was sensational for the Detroit Lions whenever his number was called. Just because the same hasn’t been the case for the Giants doesn’t mean he can’t regain his form the rest of 2022. The Giants know how good he can be for this offense.

The important takeaway for Golladay this week is that he’s back practicing and able to try and develop some chemistry with Daniel Jones. Houston’s secondary is nothing special, despite having plenty of young talent.

There’s a chance Golladay can light up the field and even score his first TD at MetLife Stadium. After all he and the team have gone through together over the past two seasons, it sure would be amazing to see.
