Cowboys legend is trying to snatch Odell Beckham Jr. away from the NY Giants
Over the next couple of weeks, the drama is only going to increase when it comes to wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Just who in the heck will he end up signing with? Countless fans out there can’t wait to find out, as it looks like either the NY Giants, Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills or Packers will end up landing him.
Social media has been going wild over the past few days, as people are doing their best to try and get OBJ to sign with their favorite team. Dallas Cowboys great Dez Bryant is attempting to do Jerry Jones a solid, as he’s recruiting Beckham to Arlington.
It goes without saying, but Big Blue supporters are hoping that Bryant is just wasting his time here. No one wants to see this go down.
Odell Beckham Jr. signing with the Dallas Cowboys would be a nightmare for Giants fans
The thought of Beckham donning a No. 13 jersey and playing consistently at AT&T Stadium is enough to keep thousands of people in New York and New Jersey up at night. Imagine if the Eagles stepped in and tried to sign Beckham too. That’d be the worse-case scenario, but it doesn’t look like Howie Roseman – knock on wood – is interested.
The Bills, Packers and Chiefs would make sense for Beckham as well, with those three teams needing some more offensive help. Aaron Rodgers is going through some personal hell now that Davante Adams is no longer at Lambeau Field. Rodgers’ receivers can’t be trusted to make big plays for him.
As for the Giants, Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka have found ways for the offense to do just enough to help this team to its 6-2 record, but the wide receiver unit is lacking a serious amount of talent. Injuries have played a big role in that.
Beckham could solve that problem by putting the pen to paper and packing his bags for NJ. Bryant can shoot his shot with Beckham all he wants, but everyone knows where the speedster belongs.
So many folks are calling for a reunion with the G-Men. It’s now on Joe Schoen to get Odell to come back to his first home after his amazing days at LSU.
