3. Cornerback Fabian Moreau

Fabian Moreau has been one of the more surprising Giants players this season, and he has matched up well against some of the top wide receivers in the league, most notably Seahawks’ DK Metcalf in Week 8.

Moreau was listed as the sixth best shutdown corner in the league by Next Gen Stats in October. Moreau started the season as a member of the practice squad, but has been a key underrated player in the Giants secondary. His stats this season are his career best and show a complete 180 from his time with Washington Commanders and Atlanta Falcons, where he allowed 66 percent of targets for 1,739 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Since the start of this season, the former Commander and Falcon has allowed only 47 percent of targets for 152 yards and one touchdown. His yards per target has also decreased with the Giants this season: eight to five yards.

If Moreau continues to perform like he has shown in games so far this season, then the Giants secondary should match up well against Houston’s limited receiving corps, forcing them to run the football against a Giants front which is performing very highly. Moreau could have himself a big game this Sunday in front of the East Rutherford faithful.
