3. Dexter Lawrence/Leonard Williams

The All-Pro campaign continued for Dexter Lawrence this week, as he absolutely dominated the Texans weak interior offensive line, making life a living nightmare for anyone who crossed his path.

This game, Lawrence racked up five combined tackles, a sack, one tackle for loss, a pass deflection, and a ridiculous five QB hits. Lawrence has been the best player on the NY Giants defense this season, so it really isn’t surprising to see this dominant level of play continue.

As for Leonard Williams, the NY Giants run defense looks much improved since his return. While it wasn’t the best game for the D, it certainly wasn’t Williams’ fault, as he totaled a team-high nine tackles, alongside 0.5 sacks and a QB hit.

These two defensive linemen have been arguably the best combo in the league this season. They work perfectly next to one another, as Williams is elite in the run game, and Dexter Lawrence is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL.

Without these two, the NY Giants defense looks much worse, especially in this game where most of the defense outside of Fabian Moreau and Adoree’ Jackson looked very questionable. Lawrence and Williams stepping up week in and week out has been simply titanic for this Giants team.
