4 bold predictions for the NY Giants vs. Lions showdown
By Zak Musso
1. Giants come out on top 34-26
The Giants are going to score some points on Sunday. However, I think Detroit will as well. Jared Goff is a solid quarterback, Amon-Ra St. Brown has become one of the NFL’s brightest young stars, while the rushing combination of D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Willams has been a problem for opposing defenses.
Detroit has the ninth best scoring offense, ninth best passing attack in yards per game, and 11th best rushing attack in yards per game. The Giants have not given up more then 22 points in a game this season, but I think this game Detroit will notch a late score to keep the game close and surpass that number.
After watching weeks of defensive battles, it will be refreshing to see the Giants win a shootout. It is clear that the Giants can win close, low-scoring affairs, but If the Giants can start to win high-scoring battles, it will make the Big Blue much more dangerous come January.
