Heading into Week 11, Daniel Jones and the New York Giants are 7-2 and near the top of the NFC. The Giants have defied all expectations this season. Jones and Saquon Barkley have looked like franchise pieces under first-year head coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.

Jones has thrown for 1,596 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and just two interceptions this season. On the ground, he has added 387 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 69 total carries. Now in Week 11, Jones and Co. will be expected to lead the Giants over an explosive Detroit Lions team. In order for NY to take down the Lions, they will need to slow down several players.

Here are four players the Giants can’t lose focus of in Week 11:

4. CB Jeff Okudah

The Lions drafted Jeff Okudah with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Over his first two seasons, Okudah was limited to just 10 total games. A groin injury ended his rookie season after just nine games. Then in his second season, Okudah’s campaign ended in Week 1 due to a torn Achilles.

Now in his third year, Okudah has finally become everything that the Lions hoped he would be. He has recorded 50 total tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble, five defended passes, one interception, and one touchdown.

In Week 10, Okudah put on his best outing of the season. He recorded two defended passes and one interception that he returned for a touchdown. Okudah has proven to be a force in the passing game and on the ground. His ability to move around the defense will lead to the Giants offense keeping their eyes on him at all times.
