2. Daniel Jones will feast against a weak Lions defense

Last week against the Texans, Daniel Jones played a tremendous game despite only throwing the ball 17 times, as he would complete 13 of these attempts for 197 yards and two TDs. While some questioned why he only threw the ball 17 times considering the amount of success he had, it’s hard to complain when you win.

This week, Jones and the offense face yet another weak defense, as the Lions’ secondary has had its fair share of struggles throughout the year.  While we’re sure the Giants weak receiving core will hold Jones back a bit as it usually does, we know how well he has played this season and are very confident that he will lead the Giants to their eighth win of 2022.

The Lions do have some very solid talent in their secondary in the form of Kerby Joseph and Jeff Okudah, but that is really it when talking about potential game-changing players.

Despite relying more on Saquon Barkley than Jones for the most part this season, Jones has had plenty of moments in which he has put the offense on his back when they have needed him to. These moments came against better defenses, so we really think Jones will have no problems at all against Detroit.
