Odell Beckham Jr. would be foolish to choose the Cowboys over the NY Giants
1. His legacy in East Rutherford
Beckham is already arguably the greatest wide receiver in Giants history, but he can become one of their legendary players if he returns to New York in the coming weeks. The Ring of Honor? His name up among Eli Manning, Michael Strahan and the greats would be incredible to see. Joining wide receivers like Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz and Plaxico Burress in catching passes during deep playoff runs all could be in his future. No one thought NY would be 7-3, but here we are. Imagine if this team stuns Dallas in Week 12 too. That’d be something.
Beckham will forever be loved by Giants fans for his heart, passion and play on the field, but the success in the win column can finally match his expectations now. The timing couldn’t be any better for Beckham to return to New York.
The chance for no other Giants in the future to wear the No. 13 again and leave his mark on the franchise that can stand the test of time is something Dallas will never be able to match. The decision should be easy for OBJ. Time will tell if he returns to New York, but there’s more reasons why than why not. We should find out soon enough where he’ll suit up next.
