Josina Anderson strongly hints that Odell Beckham Jr. is coming home
Another day, another twist in the free agency of Odell Beckham Jr. Just recently, Adam Schefter spoke with a source who told him that it felt like the Dallas Cowboys had 2-1 odds to sign OBJ. That update gave Big Blue nation loads of anxiety.
Well, let’s wait just a second there. On Wednesday, Josina Anderson took to Twitter and fired up a cryptic post that tells us Beckham could actually be getting ready to land with the NY Giants. He’s set to visit with the team this week. Is a signing immiment? It sure feels that way after Anderson’s latest social media activity.
NY Giants appear close to winning the battle for Odell Beckam Jr.
Oh Josina, don’t tease us like this. There’s been about 400 different Odell updates over the past month, but this one sure is to raise plenty of eyebrows – especially with Beckham on the verge of metting with the NY brass in New Jersey.
At the end of the day, MetLife Stadium is where Beckham got his start and people have been begging for him to return to don a Giants jersey again. He’s got the chance to build his legacy in the area, but Beckham can also be the No. 1 option for Daniel Jones and the aerial attack.
Beckham unfortunately tore his ACL in the Super Bowl win over the Bengals last February, but he’s been on the grind to get himself back to full health. Now that he’s cleared, he’s itching to get back on the gridiron to make plays.
It feels like his next move is catching balls from Jones and developing chemistry with head coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka. We should find out soon what exaclty Anderson was trying to tell us with her post, but Giants nation has plenty of reasons to be fired up right now.
