You just had a feeling that things weren’t going to end perfectly between Odell Beckham Jr. and the Dallas Cowboys. Just a week ago, people all over Texas were ready to buy a No. 13 jersey with Beckham on the back. Since then, Jerry Jones has obviously leaked that he’s worried about OBJ’s ACL. Trying to drive down the price, Jerry?

Unfortunately for Cowboys players, they now have to deal with Beckham-related questions each and every day. For the NY Giants, this has got to be great, as Joe Schoen must feel like he’s in pretty good shape to potentially sign him. Standout Dallas playmakers are clearly over this, however, with DeMarcus Lawrence on the list.

Odell Beckham Jr. was expected to make his decision this week

Lawrence wasn’t the only one to seem annoyed this week, as wideout CeeDee Lamb also has just about had it with all the Beckham questions. Dallas is looking sharp and the fanbase is dreaming of a trip to the Super Bowl. That should be the focus for the team, not whether or not they ink Beckham.

Meanwhile for the Giants, it’s business as usual. They’ve downplayed things with Beckham from the start, and we haven’t been seeing players or coaches try and recruit him on social media. That’s been great to see, although Saquon Barkley and Sterling Shepard have obviously been open on their excitement about the possibility.

With that said, thanks to Jones, the whole Beckham free agency has become a complete and total circus. No one knows what’s going to end up happening. At this point, we’d like Beckham to make his decision as soon as possible.

A one-way ticket to Newark to start the second chapter of his Giants career would be awesome. If it doesn’t happen, though, don’t expect Dallas to race to sign him either. Maybe the Buffalo Bills should be considered the new favorites. That’s how things are feeling right now.
