Sunday just couldn’t have gone much worse for the NY Giants. In what was supposed to be a back-and-forth home game for the G-Men, the Eagles dominated in Week 14 and made the short trip home with a 48-22 win under their belt. This was downright embarrassing from Big Blue – there are no excuses for their play.

As infuriating as that showing was, perhaps one more thing had NY supporters even more frustrated: the amount of Eagles fans who packed the stands and were loud as heck. At times, it felt like this game was being played in Philly. That’s how much noise Eagles nation was making. Things were only made worse once this one went final.

Philadelphia Eagles fans stole the show at MetLife in the win over the NY Giants

Jalen Hurts had a monster game against the Giants and he’s fully in the MVP conversation. The fact that we had to hear those MVP chants in East Rutherford just doesn’t sit well with anyone. If you had tickets to this game and sold them to Philly supporters… shame on you.

The thing about Eagles fans is that they always travel well, and you just knew they’d make their presence felt against the Giants even with the game being played in nearby New Jersey. With the folks in green being so fired up, they witnessed Hurts be electric, and the ground game rush for more than 250 yards.

Miles Sanders posted 144 of those yards, with his two touchdown runs. The Giants defense had no answers for the Eagles offense, which was disappointing to see. With the Giants being 1-3-1 in their last five games, it only adds to the depression for the NY faithful.

The same of course can’t be said for the Eagles, as Nick Sirianni and Co. are now 12-1 on the year and they’ve only seen their Super Bowl odds climb in recent weeks. All in all, it was a game to forget for the Giants, but the Eagles are still celebrating the W. We know for sure their fans are as well.
