3 Best Prop Bets for NY Giants vs. Commanders in Week 15

We are counting down the minutes for the monster Sunday Night Football showdown between the NY Giants and Washington Commanders. With both teams at 7-5-1 for the year, a trip to the postseason very well could be on the line for this Week 15 showdown.
Both these teams are hungry for a win – that’s obvious. Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, as usual, will hope to power the NY offense, while Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari, Leonard Williams and others will be ready to ball out for the defense.
Leading up to the action, there’s several prop bets for fans to consider. In this piece, we take a look at three in particular that have caught our attention.
NY Giants Over/Under Prop Bets
Per the oddsmakers, the over/under for the Giants points total for this contest has been set at 17.5. Both the over and under hold -110 odds. Only twice this season have the Giants scored un 18 points – in the losses to Dallas and Seattle. With so much on the line come Sunday night, it’s hard to imagine Mike Kafka doesn’t get creative calling plays.
Danny Dimes is going to have to have a monster game, as there’s speculation Jones could be playing for his future this weekend. We think the offense will wake up and hit the over vs. Washington.
NY Giants Second Quarter Prop Bets
It’s not often we dive into analysis of the second quarter, but we’re doing so here. For the Giants, slow starts in the opening 15 minutes has been an issue for them all season. We think Washington will hold a small lead after the first. However, look for the Giants to outscore Washington in the second quarter- they have +128 odds to do so. We like their chances there.
Washington Commanders Scoring Prop Bets
While we don’t want to see this happen, we fully expect the Commanders to get on the board first. The sluggish openings to game for NY have been a nightmare, and with this game being at FedEx Field, Taylor Heinicke, Terry McLaurin, Brian Robinson Jr. and Antonio Gibson will hope to kick things off with a bang. Washington holds -140 to put up points first against the G-Men. We expect them to do so.
