On Sunday night, Daniel Jones and the NY Giants will travel to take on Taylor Heinicke and the Washington Commanders in what’s the biggest game of the year for both sides.

With both teams currently sitting at 7-5-1 and tied for third in the NFC North, this is a must-win game for the Giants AND Commanders. If NY hopes to keep their playoff hopes alive, they cannot afford to fall into last place within their division.

When these two squads faced off two weeks ago, the game ended in a 20-20 tie. Now, in Week 15, both these sides are looking for a much different outcome. Here’s four bold predictions for the Week 15 Sunday Night Football showdown.

4. Azeez Ojulari and Kayvon Thibodeuax come up big

In the short time that Azeez Ojulari and Kayvon Thibodeaux have been on the field together, they have been disruptive. Ojulari has taken the field just four times for the Giants this season. When healthy, he has looked elite, recording eight total tackles, two tackles for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Next to Ojulari, Thibodeaux has also looked strong during his rookie campaign. Through 11 games, he has recorded 26 total tackles, one tackle for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble. The last time that Ojulari and Thibodeaux lined up across from the Commanders offensive line, they gave them problems. They combined for six total tackles, one tackle for loss, two sacks, four quarterback hits, and one forced fumble.

Throughout this season, the Commanders offensive line has struggled to protect whoever is playing quarterback for them. Heading into Week 15, they have given up the fifth most sacks in the NFL with 37.

The Giants pass-rush, when healthy, has several talented players that can get after the quarterback. Along with Ojulari and Thibodeeuax, Leonard Williams and Dexter Lawrence have put together strong campaigns.

There is an argument that Lawrence has put himself into contention for the best defensive tackle in the NFL with the season he has had. Led by their young duo on the edges, the Giants could live in the Commanders backfield on Sunday night.
