3. Saquon Barkley has re-emerged as a top RB with New York

The biggest key to the Giants success this season has been their former No. 2 overall pick playing like the second overall pick again. Barkley has the same kind of burst that people loved seeing out of him from his rookie campaign.

Only three players have more games in which they’ve recorded 100+ rushing yards this season, and it’s Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb, and Josh Jacobs. He has been one of the top running backs in football all season, and against Washington, Saquon showed the worried fans that they shouldn’t be concerned about him.

Barkley also look strong vs. Minnesota in Week 16. If fans are worried about Barkley’s slump a few weeks ago, they shouldn’t be at all. He has been dealing with lingering issues, but seemed to be back to his elite ways over the past two weeks. Look for Barkley to keep things going in the right direction to close out the regular season. Then, he’ll take things into a new gear if NY plays in the Wild Card Round too.
