1. Seahawks, Lions and Packers lose

Last but not least, if Seattle, Detroit and Green Bay all fall, then the Giants will be playing beyond Week 18. In this scenario, it doesn’t matter what happens with Washington. Looking a bit more closely at the Packers, they’ll be hosting the Minnesota Vikings, who have a ton to play for. They’re looking to keep their dreams of earning the No. 1 seed in the NFC alive.

The Vikings unfortunately broke our hearts in Week 16 thanks to a 61-yard field goal from Greg Joseph to take down the Lions. If they want to make it up to us, they can go ahead and record a convincing win at Lambeau Field. With that result, the Packers would officially be eliminated and the Giants would grab a Wild Card spot.

As you can see from all of this, there’s a lot of moving pieces – however, Big Blue is in fantastic shape to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2016. This would be a major accomplishment for Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen in their first season with the team. Only time will tell if the Giants are able to celebrate come Sunday night or not. A win over the Colts sure would be sweet to see.
