2. RB Saquon Barkley

Following an electric start to his NFL career, injuries struck Giants running back Saquon Barkley. A torn ACL in 2020, and a lingering ankle injury in 2021 kept him from playing at his best. But now two years removed from his season-ending injury, Barkley is back and looks like one of the best running backs in the NFL.

Through 15 games this season, Barkley has carried the ball 283 times for 1,254 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. He has also played a role in the passing game, recording 55 receptions for 343 receiving yards on 72 total targets.

Barkley has played well consistently this season. He has recorded at least 100 yards from scrimmage in eight different games. He will now line up across from a Colts defense that has struggled against the run all season.

The Colts have allowed 1,833 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on the season. They are also allowing 4.1 yards per carry. If Barkley and the Giants offense can establish the run, the Colts defense will be in for a challenge. The run game has been a key part of the Giants offense all season, and the Colts will likely struggle to slow them down.

Another elite showing from Barkley could be what the Giants need to secure the win. And there is no reason that he can’t once again deliver for this offense.
