1. DT Dexter Lawrence

Dexter Lawrence has established himself as maybe the NFL’s most dominant defensive tackle. The former Clemson pass rusher has put together the best season of his NFL career in 2022. Lawrence has been a superstar this season. He has recorded 63 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 25 quarterback hits, 6.5 total sacks, and two forced fumbles.

According to PFF, Lawrence has a defensive grade of 92.0. This is the highest of any defensive tackle in the NFL. The Giants pass-rush, with Lawrence leading the group, has been among the best in the NFL this season. Along with Lawrence, the young edge duo of Kayvon Thibodeaux and Azeez Ojuliari have given even the best offensive lines problems. Next to Lawrence, Leonard Williams has also put together another strong campaign.

The Colts offensive line has struggled to keep their quarterbacks protected all season. Matt Ryan has been sacked 38 times, Sam Ellingher 11 times, and Nick Foles seven times. In total, the offensive front has allowed 56 total sacks, the second most in the NFL.

With Lawrence, along with Thibodeaux, Ojulari, and Williams, the Giants could live in the Colts backfield. If they can consistently apply pressure to Foles, the Colts offense could be stopped in their tracks.
